Changing the database hosting server OS from Windows to Linux

Hi, I have a system developed on Mendix 4.7.2 and connected to Oracle 11g Database. If I change the Database server from Windows to Linux, will there be any issues??? will the data be affected, like losing data... etc? will there be any special configurations that i must do? Or I just have to take a backup of the data and copy them to a schema created in Linux server?

I anticipate no problems, since the database is OS independent. It is a lot less hassle the changing to another database engine, like Postgress for instance. But you better ask this question on an Oracle forum as well.
