Hi guys
A lot of time we are just pushing new revisions of the app without any config change(s) to the environments. Steps like (committing), building a package, deploying, stopping, restarting environments are routine and could be automated and save developers a lot of time -when using with caution-. Therefore I think that adding another deploy function in the modeler would be a great win/timesaver over the lifetime of a Mendix developer.
PS: I know we can build the desired functionality self with the Mendix API's, but I think that it should be general available within the modeler for everyone
I miss this as well. When committing to SVN, an extra button saying something like “Commit and deploy to Test” would make my life a lot easier.
