I think it would be usefull if the right to grant node permissions, would not fall on the responsibility of the Technical Contact only, for all the environments.
I would suggest giving the Technical Contact the option to give other project members rights to grant node permissions on Non-Production Environments.
With this, the Technical Contact would remain in charge of environments with a green check-mark, but could delegate the task of handing out node permissions on non-production environments to other project members.
