In all these years I've never really used the database synchronization prompt for anything useful. I have however lost a lot of time waiting for an app to start while Mendix waits for my OK.
While I can see it’s uses (eg. for migration purposes), in my opinion, 99% of the time it’s not useful to prompt and the database synchronization can be done automatically.
It would be nice if you made the database synchronization prompt optional or skippable via preference setting.
