We would like Mendix Cloud to have the same version of the internal DB (PostgreSQL) for different environments of the same application.
We would like to avoid version mismatch of the internal DB due to Japanese business practices.
If a problem occurs during system operation, we may be pointed out the inconsistency of PostgreSQL versions.
We are aware that the current Mendix Cloud specifications are as follows
- The version of the internal DB (PostgreSQL) in Mendix Cloud is determined at the time the environment is created.
- Therefore, there are cases where different versions are used in different environments (Acceptance, Production, etc.) for the same application.
- To resolve this, it is necessary to ask Mendix Support to clear the DB.
In normal operation, the procedure would be to evaluate the application in Acceptance and then deploy it to Production.
This is not desirable because the version of the internal DB changes after the evaluation.
