Maybe this could be helpful for someone else as well.
The idea is to be able to schedule deployments & restarts of an app on a production environment.
Sometimes, due to non-overlapping business hours, there is no opportunity to deploy & restart an app running on a production environment when there is no overlap, but to only do it during business hours of another location which is affecting users from that location.
Being able to schedule the deployment and restart of the app outside of business hours, would help decrease friction between stakeholders.
I also wish for this feature, but for now you could build it yourself. The Mendix API supports creating backups, deployments, and restarts.
