Though not very common, in the rare case that you have to restore your own database Mendix only provides very minimal logging. An upload or restore either fails or succesfully completes.
When trying to solve database issues on any cloud environment there are however a multitude of parameters that should be taken into account, such as Postgres version, PG_Dump version, and back up settings in pgadmin.
I think it would save both Mendix as well as developers a lot of time if the logs of the upload and restore activities would be available so you can solve any problems without the help of Mendix Support.
