How to generate API key

I went through the API key documentation to know how to generate it for the purpose of deployment but the content was not there by saying that it is for security purpose. So, I want to know how to generate it?

Goto your Mendix profile and then click the cog. There you have on the left side the ability to create and revoke your personal API keys.
