App works running locally but then errors once published

I made an app that connects with AWS S3 buckets using the AWS module in the marketplace to download and upload files. When I run the app locally it works perfectly, but when I try to use the published version it errors in one of the java scripts saying that the object is empty. When I look through the S3 buckets I am able to see my files but importing fails.
