CF-RateLimitV2APIExceeded(10018): Rate Limit of V2 API Exceeded. Please consider using the V3 API

When trying to deploy an app (via Sprintr) for the first time, to a new BTP environment we just created, we get the following message: CF-RateLimitV2APIExceeded(10018): Rate Limit of V2 API Exceeded. Please consider using the V3 API. The deploy does not work and all instances are deleted. CLi says our API version is 3.138.0. Does anyone know what this means and whether we can solve this issue ourselves?
