What state synchronization is executed when using cluster environments?

Hi,   Question about a paragraph I read in a document: https://docs.mendix.com/refguide/clustered-mendix-runtime/#9-dirty-state-in-a-cluster   9 Dirty State in a Cluster: " The more objects that are part of the dirty state, the more data has to be transferred in the requests and responses between the Mendix Runtime and the Mendix Client. As such, this has an impact on performance. In cluster environments, it is advised to minimize the amount of dirty state to minimize the impact of the synchronization on performance. "    What do they mean with this "synchronization"? What synchronization is required when using cluster environments?   Thank you!   Tim
