I believe that the interaction of commands and feedback, are related to the Agent that is within the namespace of kubernetes, the same  is connected to the portal of mendix, and any action for example of scale, stop etc and intercepted by the agent and forwards to the Operator (also within the cluster) that performs the necessary actions.

Once something has been executed by the Operator in the cluster, for example stopping the application, the agent passes the information on to the mendix portal;
