Mendix Deployment to Openshift Cloud - File Storage

Hello Experts, I have deployed my Mendix Application to Openshift cloud, and now I have couple questions I am hoping to get answers. The deployment is containerized, so I assume that If I attach a persistance volume to the container it will be used to store the files which I upload using my application. Is this correct? What is the max persistance volume should be allocated to the application container? Do we have any benchmarking? Due to regulatory requirement we can not use any cloud file storage system. Do you have any way to implement custom file storage service and provide that as run time parameters? Really appreciate if you can provide any guidance.
