We have now released the IIH version 1.10.0! This version brings great improvements in terms of memory consumption and performance. The memory requirement was reduced by ~500mB and we have re-enabled IIH to IIH synchronization (for live data).
Another long awaited feature is alarm handling and storing in IIH Essentials and additional changes. The detailed patch notes can be found below!
If you have any quesitons, please feel free to contact me directly, or the PPM for IIH Ender Yuezbasioglu.
V1.10.0
General:
The memory consumption was optimized
Homepage:
- Namespaces can now be synchronized between IEDs (multiple children to one parent). Automatic and manual synchronization are supported.
- OPC UA variables with associated mappings are now counted towards the total usage (asset variables).
Getdata:
All data sources of a connector can be viewed at once.,
- You can now deploy all tags of a connector without selecting them individually.,
- Memory improvements to increase the backup and restore to handle up to 500k data points.,
- Filtering is supported when browsing tags,
- Hierarchical tag structures for arrays are now supported.
Define data:
- The status of the OPC UA namespaces can be updated in real time.,
- You can create and delete multiple mappings in batch.
Query Data:
- Chart renderingto improve responsiveness
- The query results view performance was improved when processing large amounts of data.
Settings:
- Options for showing and hiding assets on the OPC UA server have been added.
Store Data:
- Alarms can now be received from the Connectivity Suite connectors. The alarms are saved in \"alarm channels\", which are configured by selecting the alarm source (connector) and a filter, which alarms should be stored. The stored alarms are provided though the northbound REST API.,
- A new API route is available which allows data to be published to a connector for a specific variable. The connector then sends this to the corresponding PLC. If the PLC \"accepts\" the data, it is forwarded the already existing way, via connector, and stored into IIH Essentials.,
- The time series database was improved with an additional write buffer. This way, write operations can be optimized. It reduces the CPU load by ~20% and reduces wear on the persisting hardware.
