📢 IIH Databus Gateway App now part of IE Databus App
📢 Dear Industrial Edge Community,
We are excited to share some significant updates regarding our "IIH Databus Gateway" applications. As of the latest release, version of Databus v3.0.0, we have merged the Databus Gateway app into the Databus app. This strategic move aims to streamline functionality, enhance performance, and optimize resource utilization.
Key Points:
- Merging IIH Databus Gateway into Databus:
- The standalone Databus Gateway app will be phased out.
- All Databus Gateway features and capabilities are now integrated into the Databus app.
- Users will no longer need to manage two separate apps; everything will be consolidated within the Databus app.
- Enhancements and Performance Improvements:
- The new Databus app not only retains all existing functionalities but also introduces additional performance enhancements.
- Expect a smaller memory footprint, improved data handling, and optimized resource utilization.
- Availability and Release:
- The updated Databus app, including the merged Databus Gateway features, will be available via the IE Hub.
- Look out for the release in 06/24.

Steps for Update / Migration
•Go to Common Configurator and take a backup
•Update “Databus” to v3.0.0
•Wait 3 minutes (as precaution)
•Uninstall “Databus Gateway”
•Done
