📢 IMPORTANT NEWS for Industrial Edge Apps AI Model Manager / AI Model Monitor / AI Inference Server
📢 Dear Industrial Edge Community,
We are excited to share some significant updates regarding our “Industrial AI Suite" applications. Effective May 2025, the "AI Model Manager" app will be renamed to "AI Asset Manager" and will inherit the functionality of the "AI Model Monitor" app. Consequently, the "AI Model Monitor" app will no longer be required, helping you save resources on your Industrial Edge devices and streamline your maintenance efforts.
Additionally, the "AI Model Monitor Agent" will be integrated into the "AI Inference Server" app and will not be needed once you update to the new version of the "AI Inference Server”, also releasing on May 2025.
This strategic move aims to streamline functionality, enhance performance, and optimize resource utilization.
Key Points:
- Merging AI Model Monitor into AI Asset Manager:
- The AI Model Monitor app will be phased out.
- Beside usability improvements, all AI Model Monitor features and capabilities will be integrated into the Asset Manager app.
- Users will no longer need to manage two separate apps; everything will be consolidated within the AI Asset Manager app.
- Merging AI Model Monitor Agent into AI Inference Server:
- The Model Monitor Agent will be integrated into the AI Inference Server app.
- Expect less installation, configuration and management effort.
- Availability and Release:
- The updated AI Asset Manager app, including the merged AI Model Monitor features, will be available via the IE Hub.
- Look out for the release in 05/25.

Steps for Update / Migration
• Prerequisite: Have an existing AI Model Monitor and Agent Installation
• Update “AI Inference Server” to v2.4 or newer
• Install “AI Asset Manager”
• or if you already have “AI Model Manager” installed, update it to version V2.2 to automatically get the new “AI Asset Manager”
• When AI Asset Manager is active, then stop and uninstall AI Model Monitor (!) and AI Model Monitor Agent
• Your previously gathered data should be migrated automatically
