How Can My App Identify the Edge Device? Edge Device ID is OK?

1. My app want to identify the Edge Device with some identities, such as IED Serial Number, Edge Device ID, etc..     Is it OK to use Edge Device ID? 2. I can see the  Edge Device ID in IEM. ("IEM" -> "Edge Devices" -> "<select your IED>" -> "<see Edge Device ID>").      Where could I get Edge Device ID number inside my app? Does the Edge Device ID store in somewhere inside IED?     Thanks~

Hi Baoin he,

 

This is currently not possible using the device API . However, Information regarding the edge device such as the device ID , name , status etc.. Can be obtained from the APIs of the IEM:
