Energy Manager App is Crashed

0
Hello,   One of our customers is unable to access the Energy Manager App after it was updated to the latest version (17.1.1). An error is shown in the log as "edge_app database does not exist." They have many custom dashboards and configurations on the Energy Manager and do not want to lose them. Is there any way to recover the app or roll back to a previous version? We kindly need your support. Please find the full logs below.   Regards.     {"log":"}\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.426123254Z"}{"log":"2024-05-17 04:45:51.444 UTC [137] FATAL:  database \"edge_apps\" does not exist\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.44424931Z"}{"log":"DatabaseService:: {\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.44562274Z"}{"log":"  \"debugInfo\": {\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445646044Z"}{"log":"    \"description\": \"database \\\"edge_apps\\\" does not exist\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445653456Z"}{"log":"    \"sql\": \"SELECT * FROM \\\"databaseservice\\\".appconfig WHERE name=$1\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.44566017Z"}{"log":"    \"sqlParams\": [\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445666496Z"}{"log":"      \"energymanager\"\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445673836Z"}{"log":"    ]\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.44567966Z"}{"log":"  },\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445685057Z"}{"log":"  \"service\": \"DatabaseService\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445690418Z"}{"log":"  \"state\": 500,\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.44569604Z"}{"log":"  \"stateText\": \"ServerError\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445701554Z"}{"log":"  \"errorCode\": 4,\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445707195Z"}{"log":"  \"errorKey\": \"SqlError\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445712626Z"}{"log":"  \"message\": \"Database error occurred.\"\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445718275Z"}{"log":"}\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.445723924Z"}{"log":"FrontendService:: WARNING Failure during request. retry: 2\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.446984662Z"}{"log":"2024-05-17 04:45:51.455 UTC [138] FATAL:  database \"edge_apps\" does not exist\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456023462Z"}{"log":"DatabaseService:: {\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456673272Z"}{"log":"  \"debugInfo\": {\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456691996Z"}{"log":"    \"description\": \"database \\\"edge_apps\\\" does not exist\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456698865Z"}{"log":"    \"sql\": \"SELECT schema_name FROM information_schema.schemata WHERE schema_name = $1\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456705099Z"}{"log":"    \"sqlParams\": [\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456813157Z"}{"log":"      \"databaseservice\"\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456818963Z"}{"log":"    ]\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456824404Z"}{"log":"  },\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456829679Z"}{"log":"  \"service\": \"DatabaseService\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456834824Z"}{"log":"  \"state\": 500,\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456840383Z"}{"log":"  \"stateText\": \"ServerError\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456845765Z"}{"log":"  \"errorCode\": 4,\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456851126Z"}{"log":"  \"errorKey\": \"SqlError\",\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456856416Z"}{"log":"  \"message\": \"Database error occurred.\"\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456861925Z"}{"log":"}\n","stream":"stderr","time":"2024-05-17T04:45:51.456883618Z"}

Hello, could you please give me more information about the versions used?

Version of IED, IIH Essentials & previous Energy Manager would be useful.

They could try rolling back to the old version via the IEM:

Admin management -> Submitted apps -> unpublish Energy Manager -> publish Energy Manager and select previous working version

Hello Kai,

Thanks for your quick response.It's working after rolling back to version 1.16.1

IED Version: 1.3.0-57-amd64

IIH Essentials: 1.8.0

Energy Manager_prev: 1.16.1

Please note, a fresh Energy manager (1.17.1) installation on a second device -with same device and IIH versions- working well.

Regards

As they are already using older unsupported versions I anyway suggest to update their IED, maybe this could fix the Energy Manager update
