Not able to Onboard IED in IEM Virtual

While activating IED, Im getting following error " Time on the IED is not synchronized with IEM". I didnt configured any NTP server both in IEM & IED. Please suggest what other settings need to checked.

Hello Gokulnath,

it seems that there is a time difference between your IED and your IEM.

Both, IEM and IED needs to have the same time basis to allow the onboarding.

In general time synchronization is a crucial part of Industrial Edge, please make sure IED and IEM are synchronized to a NTP server to function in the correct way- otherwise you will run into further issues once your IED is onboarded.

So please make sure that IED and IEM have the same time by connecting to a NTP server. Once done the onboarding will work as expected.
