At the moment you cannot connect a Mendix app in the public cloud to a mailserver that uses a Reverse DNS Lookup for security. Many mailservers use this Reverse DNS Lookup. Idea/feature request is that Mendix makes it possible to add a Reverse DNS Record (PTR) in the Mendix cloud.
