I think Mendix is a great tool part unfortunately some of the integration capabilities let it down (when they should be its strengths).   Issues: Generating from JSON snippets is hit and miss and can involve a lot of rework where a field in JSON is interpreted as the wrong type or the type cannot be determined Generating from multiple JSON snippets can sometimes result in entities being incorrectly mapped to each other when there may be no relation Some XML schemas are not able to be interpreted by Mendix The generated entities are not always easy to view in the data model – different ways to view the data model are required
