good day im having issues with my JDK directories as it not allowing me to run mendix locally how do I go about fixing this

Hi Jamaal,
Simply install suitable JDK version on mac. I face same issue, but after installing suitable version, problem solved.
You can download JDK mac version from official site.

This happened to me too when I updated from Mendix v9 to v10. All you need to do is to change where the JDK directory is pointing to; find the correct version Mendix folder that holds the JDK. That fixed it for me.
