Manipulate currentDateTime

For testing purposes, we are exploring the possibility of time-travel by manipulating the [%CurrentDateTime%] reference. Does anyone have any experience with this, can I manipulate a certain java function? Or maybe other suggestions to use time-travel in mendix? Edit: the testing must be done in the cloud environment

That one is really simple if you test local. Just change the date time of your operating system. So in windows click in the right hand corner on the date and change it manually. I use this all the time for a module we use to send signal on certain times and see what is send on a certain date time.

Only make certain that you do not commit anything of the teamserver when your date time is set manually. You might run into problems then.
