Unable to validate Response Issue with user in SAML20 Module

Unable to validate Response, because of error: User lookup of 'g.swart' failed, this userprincipal doesn't exist in the Mx database. We are using the SAML20 module and experiencing an issue with one specific user (see above). What can be the cause this issue? Thanks!

your account does not exist in the database (watch for caseSensTive). Add the account (and userrole) and SSO will work
