Try adding commons.compress to user userlib
You can get it from maven org.apache.commons/commons-compress/1.5

If you’ve imported your project in eclipse, I would check if the library in your error message is in your project’s build.
Navigate to Project > Properties > Java Build Path and you should find there all the libraries in use.
Your library should be something like org.apache.commons.compress, the error might be coming up because the library is missing or you might have a new/old version which doesn’t contain the class in question. You could also have two versions of the same library.

I put an older version of the files to check if the error is still being shown or not. It did so I put the newer version files in the folder which is Documents/Mendix/BranchLine but eclipse is now giving me an error that these files are missing when I already have copied these files in the folder. The error still showed up even when I put these newer files.
After rebuilding and cleaning I’m getting this error. It is working on my colleague’s pc but not mine since i’m the only one having this issue. I don’t know if changing the code is the right thing to do here since I am working on the branch line and merging might bring up new problems. I don’t know if there is something that I am doing wrong here or maybe it is something beyond my knowledge.
