Mendix Marketplace lacking download statistics per component

In the Mendix AppStore there was a feature to see how many times an AppStore component has been downloaded over the last 12 months. Both for the person downloading the component as well as for the person maintaining the component there are benefits that now have been stripped from the marketplace:

• For person downloading: how much has it been downloaded recently, gives an indication on how actively it is used. More actively used gives more confidence to use in project.
• For developer maintaining component: if component is downloaded less often, perhaps there are issues or it has become obsolete

I already filed a support ticket, but got the feedback that it was indeed removed, but reasoning behind it is lacking. It is now on the backlog… Hoping this idea, when upvoted, will push this removed feature upwards on priority.
