Call Geolocation Widget from Phone every 15 minutes interval

Hi Experts, Is there a way to automatically call the geolocation widget in 15 minutes interval after a certain Start button is pressed? This will continue even after the app is not running on the phone. The only way to stop it is to press a certain Stop button to stop capturing the location every 15 minutes. Cheers!
