Do plugins in Mendix marketplace affect security of my app? I saw the marketplace and found that there are plugins made by Mendix, and there are plugins made by other than Mendix.

No,it will not affect your security.the security is depends upon your configuration.the plugins which you are saying are marketplace modules itself right?
