Issue with Datagrid2 after upgrade 9.6.3 to 9.24.4

Hi, Recently we have upgraded our environment from 9.6.3 to 9.24.4. In one of our Mendix page we have Datagrid2 and data source for this is XPATH constraint. Data is pulling as expected. We need here multi selection. User can be able to select more than one value at a time. On every click of selection, we have On Click event as a Microflow based on the selection inside the event microflow we are changing necessary attributes of the entity and refreshing. Based on the attribute change we have Dynamic row class. Everything is working as expected in 9.6.3, but in 9.24.4 for making this datagrid2 multiselect we need to enable selection as a Multi, if we choose Multi or even Single we are not authorized to use On Click event we need to use On Selection Change, but this is not fulfilling our requirement. Can anyone suggest me how can i make datagrid2 as a multi selectable with On Click event in 9.24.4
