I'll checking this and realised that Im not using the latest version. So for, I just updated it. But the first impression is that now I have more configuration for the Default. I'll continue investigating and let you know.

Hi Giuliano and Ganesh,
I faced a similar issue, and in my case, adjusting the Default IdP Configuration settings helped. After updating the module and customizing the mappings, it resolved the duplicate user problem.
