Hi Steve,
Are you calling this from a microflow action? The key line in the error message seems to be: com.mendix.core.CoreException: Cannot create excel, because the inputobject isn't given. Expect: CPF3.Module
When called from the Java action GenerateExcelDoc. I suspect this is called in one of your microflows. Are you able to share a picture of the configuration you have done for that java action? I suspect the object isn’t being passed to the java action quite correctly. In order for that to work with the given template, you will need to pass a CPF3.Module object to the Java action.
Steve,
It could be because you don’t pass an object to the Java action that creates the report. Could you share a screenshot of your microflow and perhaps a screenshot of the Template you created for this export as well as a screenshot of the Java action? That would help in figuring out what is happening.

Hi Steve, Thanks for the update. If you are just calling the 'GenerateReport' directly from a microflow, you will see the issue is that your template expects an object but this microflow doesn't know which one it is. Check out the 'input object' option in the GenerateExcelIDoc java action. It is set as 'empty' as a default. What you might want to do is build your own microflow that looks like GenerateReport but has another input parameter. That input parameter should match the thing you set in your template. I think you are calling it 'Module' in your situation.
