Can we attach .msg format file as attachment in email connector?

I am developing an application in which I want to add a email message(.msg) file as an attachment in email connector. is it possible to attach .msg files? or there it any limitation for the the file format to be attachment.

I don't think there is a limitation on the file types that can be attached.  You may run into some filtering or blocking by the email servers for the addresses you will send the email to.
