Notification to user via microflow running in the background

This is the case: In a microflow a many things happen and all the information is stored. What I would like that a notification (Popup) apears after 15 minutes. So the microflow has to trigger a timer and to prevent roll back the microflow needs to finish. So is it possible to trigger a microflow in the background that is related to this session?
