How to download attachments with content in mendix web applications

Hello Everyone :) We are trying to get the Email Attachments through API' s. But, once we download the Attachments, the content in that particular attachment will become empty we have tried base64 decoding java action and also tried String to file java action but still we are facing the same issue as before. once we download the particular attachment we are facing file corrupted error and the content in that attachment is empty can anyone help me to solve this..?
