Hundreds of errors appearing due to spurious paths appending to end of expressions

Hi all, We recently upgraded to 10.6.5 and across the team we are experiencing continuous avalanches of spontaneously emerging errors where paths get added to the expressions in micro/nano flows and widget expressions. e.g. I might have .../xyz/user/name become .../xyz/user/name/user/name or sometimes I get 20 or 30 terms added. I close 50 or 60 and then 200 appear. I close them, save and restart : 300 new / repeated errors. The whole team has the problem. It's slowing us down to say the least. Anyone have any ideas?
