Is it not possible at all, or is it frome time to time buggy.

In my experience, it is the latter it is annoying but after i go back and forth from another page it is most of the time working again.

Nonetheless, you can try to file a ticket to mendix to make them aware of this situation.

Is this in the Mac version? If it is, then the Mac version is still in Beta and there are some issues with it. One solution would be to swap to the Windows version using Parallels on the Mac.

Another possibility: is the Mendix project stored in a location that is synced by onedrive for example? Onedrive causes issues from time to time, i assume that is because of locking of files.

In that case the solution would be to move the project to another folder, something like d:\mendix\myproject

I converted version 10.6.8 to 10.5.0 and it worked.
