DS mf inside a conditional group box is executed 3 times

Hi guys I noticed a strange behaviour when using group boxes with conditional visibilities (attributional, without a userrole condition) on the pages. The DS_mf (of the ChartJS Widget) is getting executed 3 times when there is a conditional visibility. If not, just once. Could this because of a bug in the widget or is this intended behaviour of Mendix?
