Calling a microflow from DataView Asynchronously

Hi there, I see that button clicks can call microflows asynchronously. But I don’t see an option in dataview to call microflow asynchronously. Is there an obvious reason why this is not available in DataView ? Is there a workaround ? Please advise.

Hi Vinod,

What you can do is call a microflow in the normal way, then in that microflow use the Community Commons action ‘Run Microflow in Background’ or RunMicroflowAsyncInQueue in order to make it work for you. You are correct, there is no default feature in the dataview to call a flow asynchronously right now.
