Refresh dataview in snippet

Hi all, On my page I have two snippets.  A button in one of them triggers a MF that refreshes the entity of the other snippet. However, the data in this snippet is not refreshed. I found this post https://community.mendix.com/link/questions/8480 from four years ago but all the workarounds seem rather sketchy to me.. Does anyone have a better method of doing this? Thanks! Hi, you can add the microflow-timer widget to refresh the entity of the snippet in a certain amount of time.

Hi Ellen,

if each snippet has its own dataview, the yes I don't think refreshing on of them will trigger it, either you put your snippets under one dataview, if that is not possible depends on the data structure, then you need to create another entity to be the connecter outer dataview layout and it can be non -persistable and connect it with the two entities that you have, just to hold the two entities and when you refresh, refresh the outer dataview.

Thanks  for your answer! However, my snippets are already in the same dataview, but I still run into this problem.
