[Hybrid App] Can I add NPM plugin after building the app?

I am building a hybrid app with Mendix 8.10. I’ve already build the android app via command line, and made some adjustments in the Android project with Android Studio. Is it possible to add a NPM plugin without rebuilding? Or is there a way to rebuild without losing my adjustments?
