Barcode scanner widget for native mobile not detecting camera

Hi guys, In one of the requirement, I have to scan the bar/QR code for my native app. I used the out of the box widget provided by mendix i.e Barcode scanner. I integrated it in my app but it’s not opening camera for detecting barcode/qrcode. I was testing it with mendix make it native app initially but then I thought build is required to test it. So then I created an android build for the app through Project – > Build Native app option in modeler(8.18.1) and installed that apk file on my mobile device but still it is not detecting camera for scanning the code. Any help regarding why the widget is not opening mobile camera ? Plus, if there is anyother widget to scan bar/qr code for native, please suggest.
