Sending notifications automatically without pressing a button

Hi, I have looked through some resources on push and local notifications such as: https://docs.mendix.com/howto/mobile/native-remote-notifications, https://docs.mendix.com/howto/mobile/native-local-notifications etc. Both of them have something in common— pushing a button to send notification to mobile phones. I am creating a native mobile app in free Mendix 8. My project is on IOT which uses sensors such as temperature sensor etc. I would love to receive some notifications to user who have downloaded the app ( I would be building the app), to notify users that temperature sensor reaches a certain value automatically without pressing a button and having the need for users to open the mobile app. May I please know how do I do it please? I have been stuck with push notifications and I am not sure which kind of notification to use. I have been seeking for help but no one replied to my questions regarding push notification ( Probably because push notification is a pain). I really hope someone could reply and help me on this please…
