When I open a deeplink on a IOS device, it always opens a PWA in the browser. On Android, it opens the app directly if the PWA is installed on the device. Is there a work-around for IOS or is this just a limitation of a PWA on IOS?

This is not possible and is a limitation of iOS, unfortunately.
