PWA and Hybrid: Failed to execute openDatase on Window

Got this error on two different apps now, preventing me to open an offline first app. The first app has a HybridOffline-profile, the second app has a PWA-Offline profile. The error occurs as soon as you start the app on your device (first a tablet, second a phone) and looks like this: I can solve it by removing the app and then re-installing it, but is the a more elegant fix, that does not require re-installing the app?
