Load data daily midnight from the backend on Native Mobile android app

User may not open the app. Is it possible to trigger a scheduler on the device to call a NF.   The purpose is to load data on device daily. User may not open the app when he is on the network. So if the user opens the app when he is offline, we want him to see updated data.   We are on version 9.24.

I doubt that if the user does not have the app open that it is possible to trigger the sync though.
