upon login press PWA, the password field gets emptied and the login fails, mostly on android, but doesnt happen if you select the email field first

Hi Team, we have a pwa. sometimes, and on only some android devices when the user opens the application it asks for a password. the user clicks the username, and a password manager appears. once the login is selected the password gets placed. if the user now presses login, the password field gets cleared and the login happens, and then fails. but if instead the user first selects their email address, and then cicks login. the login happens and is successful. The user also mentioned “yeah, sometimes other sites do this too”. what is this? any android users ever experience this? and now how to fix it? googling this is hard, weird things about deleting passwords from your manager, but nothing on this bug so dfar.
