Bad device token error when using Push notifications module for iOS

I have built a hybrid iOS app using phone gap build. Signed the app with production push certificate according to Mendix push notifications setup documentation for iOS. After installing app from App Store and clicking allow notifications it creates a entry in push notifications module with registration Id. But when I test to send new message to the registered device it gives me bad device token error. With push notifications module I have setup APNS configuration using certificate, passcode and default topic. Can any one guide me in the right direction ?
