Native App Local Notifications not working for installed apk

I followed this guide in docs for creating a local notification: https://docs.mendix.com/howto/mobile/native-local-notifications When running app from Mendix Make it Native using QR code, it works fine. Notification is created. Then I created android apk using prepare and build command. Installed the application. Notification did not work on installed app. “An error occurred, please contact your system administrator.” Notifications permission is on for the app in app settings. Why it is not working after installing app from apk? and it works with Make it Native app.
