Application Node Operating System Memory goes up suddenly

Hi Expert, "Application Node Operating System Memory" spikes up suddenly after executing some reports. and It doesn’t come down after report is done or even it also doesn’t come down during the night-time. It shows spiked continuously and always. how this all works and why spike doesn’t go down in any time. If we re-deploy it shows memory usage is 3-5GB but later, it goes and uses 7 Gb continuously and always. Very important all other graphs are healthy and fine. We are using 9.12.5 version. Thanks !!
