It would be nice to have a ‘master and child role’ functionality with respect to security access for entity, pages, microflows etc.
For instance, in an application we have two roles manager and employee. The business logic states that all managers are employees but not all employees are not managers. This means all access for employee can be applied to manager but not vice-versa.
Thus if a manager can inherit the permissions of an employee it would save a lot of effort to define the security access of the manager role separately and simply extend the access of the manager role where necessary.
